The M Series Nude Microline stylus, as the name suggests, replicates the cutting stylus used in mastering, fitting with extreme precision into the vinyl groove. This ensures accurate and faithful tracking, capturing the most delicate musical nuances while enhancing frequency response, stereo separation, and overall definition.
The cartridge body is injection-molded from Delrin©, a high-tech polymer with optimized mechanical properties for damping unwanted resonances. This allows low-level details to emerge and expands the dynamic range, delivering a sound that is transparent and natural.
The main components of the Alnico-based magnetic generator receive cryogenic treatment, a cold-annealing process at near absolute zero that restructures the metal at the molecular level. This treatment is applied to the front yoke as well as the central and rear components, creating a more precise and controlled magnetic field that improves linearity, clarity, and overall musical quality.
The Delrin© body incorporates a machined brass cap and threaded fittings, which enhance mechanical damping and structural rigidity. The additional weight of 9.5 grams broadens compatibility with a wider variety of tonearms and turntables, while the threaded headshell mounting holes provide a solid and stable connection, improving bass response and overall dynamic performance.
