The Audio-Technica AT-ART1000 MC cartridge represents the pinnacle of analog evolution according to the philosophy of the Japanese brand, the result of over 54 years of expertise in the design and production of phono cartridges. At the heart of its design is the exclusive Direct Power System, an advanced engineering solution that places the moving coil directly above the stylus tip. This eliminates the need to transmit movement along the cantilever, allowing for an extremely close proximity between the stylus and the signal generator. The result is a vivid and dynamic sound reproduction, with outstanding transient response, accurate mid and low frequencies, and an exceptional ability to capture even the subtlest details engraved in the record grooves.

Each AT-ART1000 is handcrafted in Japan to the highest quality standards. The coil, meticulously wound on a 20μm PCOCC core, features eight turns of 0.9 mm wire. Despite utilizing a non-magnetic core, the cartridge is capable of generating an output voltage of 0.2 mV, thanks to the integration of a 3-ohm coil within a tiny 0.6 mm gap in a powerful magnetic circuit.

The body is made from precisely machined titanium, providing a rigid and stable structure for maximum reading accuracy. The cantilever, constructed from solid boron, combines lightness and rigidity to ensure controlled and effective movement. The special line contact diamond stylus allows for extremely accurate tracking, even in the most complex grooves.
