The QED XT-40 is a speaker cable that uses X-TUBE™ technology, developed to maintain consistent signal transmission across the entire audio spectrum. At low frequencies, the X-TUBE™ conductor behaves similarly to conventional cables with a rigid or solid core, while at high frequencies its structure allows the signal to be distributed more evenly across the conductor area, reducing the loss of information associated with the non-uniform conduction of conventional cables.

X-TUBE™ technology therefore maintains greater linearity in signal transfer at higher frequencies, with the aim of preserving the details contained in the audio signal across the entire spectrum.

The QED XT-40 also features a 4 mm² cross-sectional area, resulting in low cable resistance and allowing the amplifier to maintain effective control over the connected loudspeakers. The large conductor cross-sectional area also makes the cable suitable for long cable runs.
