MC – Silver IT 65 G is an audio interconnect cable designed for ultra-high-performance signal transmission, developed using advanced technology and a halogen-free hybrid construction. Its design aims to maintain an extremely stable characteristic impedance along the entire length of the cable, even at a microstructural level, with the goal of minimizing signal reflections and ensuring clean, precise transmission even at the highest frequencies.
The central conductor is made of 19 strands of extremely high-grade Matched Crystal OFC copper, extruded and coated with a thick layer of pure silver applied through a mechanical processing technique. This structure reaches an overall diameter of 1.4 mm, with a very low resistance of 1.43 Ohm per 100 meters and a typical capacitance of 81 pF per meter, values that contribute to stable and efficient signal conduction.
The insulation between the core and the shielding is achieved through multiple layers of Teflon tape, chosen for its very low dielectric constant of approximately 1.4. This helps preserve signal integrity during transmission by reducing losses and distortion. The shielding is double-layered and highly sophisticated, consisting of a braid made of 96 strands of 0.10 mm Matched Crystal OFC copper, further enhanced by a thick layer of pure silver and a helically wound silver ribbon, designed to provide highly effective protection against external interference.
The outer jacket is made of transparent purple Hulliflex® EHD, an exclusive material that ensures high mechanical strength and long-term durability. The cable has an external diameter of 5.8 mm and requires careful installation, avoiding tight bends and maintaining a minimum bending radius of 58 mm to preserve its structural integrity.
