The BCD IC2 XLR is an analog interconnect designed for balanced audio applications and developed through extensive laboratory research combined with comprehensive listening evaluations. Its conductor geometry and material selection have been carefully engineered to provide exceptional transparency, fast transient response, dynamic performance, and natural musical reproduction, regardless of the complexity of the audio system.

The cable employs high-purity OFC copper conductors chosen for their ability to preserve signal integrity throughout the transmission path. A three-layer insulation system made of PVC and polypropylene maintains proper conductor separation while reducing interference and minimizing signal losses.

Signal protection is provided by dual shielding consisting of a tinned copper braid and an aluminum foil shield. This construction effectively minimizes electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, ensuring a quiet background, excellent detail retrieval, and stable performance even in demanding installations.
