The Furutech FP-S022N power cable belongs to the Alpha Nano-Ag-Au series and is designed to supply power to audio and video components. Its construction uses Alpha-OFC conductors subjected to Furutech's proprietary two-stage cryogenic treatment and demagnetisation process, developed to promote signal transmission.

The conductor also incorporates Furutech's Nano Liquid technology, a solution containing gold and silver nanoparticles dispersed in squalene oil. With a diameter of approximately 8 nanometres, the particles form a coating on the conductor's surface, helping to smooth microscopic irregularities and increase the contact area. The solution's composition is carefully adjusted by balancing the proportions of gold, silver and oil, with the aim of optimising transmission characteristics.

When used in high-end audio systems, the cable is designed to support reproduction with a lower noise floor, greater dynamic articulation and improved low-frequency definition. Its design also aims to preserve the natural character of the midrange, enhance detail resolution, improve the separation of sonic elements and refine the spatial presentation of the soundstage.

The cable is also intended for home theatre systems and video installations, for which the manufacturer claims benefits in image resolution, sharpness and colour reproduction. The FP-S022N shares its technical specifications with the Furutech FP-S20N and is compatible with electrical systems rated at 125 V / 20 A or 250 V / 16 A.
