The Michi P5 S2 is a reference preamplifier designed for music enthusiasts and the most demanding audiophiles, capable of delivering an uncompromising listening experience. At the heart of its design are the eight-channel ESS SABRE ES9028PRO digital-to-analog converters, configured in MONO mode with one DAC dedicated to the left channel and one to the right. This multi-DAC architecture, with eight converters per channel, is fully focused on achieving the highest audio quality, extracting every detail and nuance from the musical signal and creating a wide, precise, and immersive soundstage.

The power supply section is based on two shielded toroidal transformers of in-house production, which feed sixteen independent circuits, isolating all critical sections. The result is an almost nonexistent noise floor and extremely low distortion levels, with bass energy that is powerful yet always controlled, and impeccable precision even in the smallest details. High-capacity BHC capacitors ensure instant, fast, and accurate power delivery even under extreme loads, providing uncompromising dynamics and musicality.

The Michi P5 S2 offers total versatility in managing music sources, supporting analog RCA and balanced XLR inputs, phono MM and MC inputs, coaxial and optical inputs, as well as Bluetooth aptX HD and AAC for high-quality wireless streaming. The PC-USB connection allows playback of PCM files up to 32-bit/384 kHz, Quad DSD up to 11.2 MHz, and MQA decoding up to 24-bit/384 kHz, making the preamplifier compatible with any high-resolution digital audio format.

Its elegant and refined design integrates harmoniously into any environment. The high-resolution TFT display, front-panel controls, and infrared remote ensure intuitive and immediate operation. Balanced XLR inputs and outputs, a 6.3 mm headphone output, and IP and RS232 ports are also provided for seamless integration into advanced home control systems.
