COPLAND CTA 301

Pre owned. In good condition. Shows some signs of wear, also visible in the photos. Supplied without original packaging.

Valve stereo preamplifier designed for use with analogue audio sources. It features an MM phono input, line inputs for CD, tuner and auxiliary sources, as well as Tape In and Tape Out connections for a tape recorder. The Pre Out output allows connection to an external power amplifier.

The brushed aluminium front panel features five knobs for source selection, Tape Monitor, channel balance, audio level adjustment and power. The rear panel houses RCA analogue connections for the left and right channels, along with a dedicated ground terminal for the phono input. Its straightforward design and analogue controls reflect the traditional approach of this Copland preamplifier, intended for integration into a stereo hi-fi system with analogue sources and a separate power amplifier.
