ACCUPHASE C-2300

The Accuphase C-2300 represents the evolution of tradition and innovation in the high-end preamplifier field. The result of over fifty years of research dedicated to perfecting volume control, this model is part of the prestigious C2000 series and sets a new standard, incorporating advanced technologies already present in reference models such as the C-2900. The heart of the C-2300 is the Balanced AAVA volume control system, which allows for precise and silent signal adjustment without introducing grain or noise, preserving the purity of the original sound at any listening level. Unlike traditional volume controls based on variable resistors, the AAVA technology operates by modifying the combination of several amplified signals directly derived from the input, ensuring an extremely linear result free from distortion.

Along with its technical sophistication, the C-2300 offers remarkable versatility with the addition of a new four-band tone control, allowing for precise adjustments to low, high, mid-low, and mid-high frequencies. This level of customization provides fine-tuning of the frequency response, adapting the sound to the listener's preferences or the acoustics of the environment. The C-2300 also features a generous array of inputs, including five line-level and two balanced, with the ability to store phase settings individually for each one.

Each channel is powered and amplified independently, with separate power supplies for the left and right channels, enhancing the purity and separation of the signal. The internal architecture is completed with highly reliable logic-controlled signal switching relays, ensuring maximum signal integrity over time. The front panel, sleek and elegant, also houses a high-quality headphone amplifier, ideal for private listening at the highest levels.

The real expandability of the C-2300 is evident with its two dedicated slots for optional boards. The newly developed DAC-60 board handles digital signals up to 384 kHz/32-bit via USB, optical, and coaxial connections, offering professional-level digital playback quality. In parallel, the new AD-60 board allows for high-fidelity analog disc playback with MM or MC cartridges, providing vinyl enthusiasts with an integrated, top-quality solution.
