The MC Grandezza transformer by DaVinciAudio Labs Switzerland embodies the essence of top-tier analog reproduction, featuring fully handcrafted construction, rigorously selected materials, and uncompromising design. Created to complement the finest moving coil (MC) cartridges—especially those with ultra-low output—the Grandezza is engineered to preserve the purest integrity of the phono signal, enhancing every nuance with absolute tonal neutrality and refined musicality.

Each unit is hand-built in Switzerland and produced in extremely limited quantities, often made to order. The minimalist and understated design reflects the brand’s philosophy: eliminating the superfluous to leave space only for musical substance.

From a technical perspective, this passive step-up transformer offers excellent flexibility thanks to two selectable gain levels and eight different loading impedance settings, allowing optimal interfacing with a wide range of MC cartridges, from the most demanding to the more conventional. The total absence of active circuitry ensures the analog signal retains extraordinary transparency—without added coloration or noise—while enabling dynamic, fluid transmission with consistently balanced, controlled, and three-dimensional sound reproduction.

Designed to work in synergy with DaVinci cartridges, such as the renowned Grand Reference Grandezza, it also integrates seamlessly into high-end analog systems from other brands, making it one of the most refined solutions available on the global market.
