CYRUS 40 PPA

The 40 PPA represents the result of many years of experience in the design and development of phono preamplifiers, created with the aim of delivering performance at the very top of its category. The entire design is completely rethought, from the overall architecture to the audio signal path, with particular attention paid to shielding the most sensitive signals, effectively protecting them from any interference and ensuring an exceptionally pure and engaging vinyl playback experience.

The unit is designed to offer maximum flexibility in cartridge selection, easily accommodating both Moving Magnet solutions, valued for their convenience, and Moving Coil cartridges, known for their high level of detail and output optimisation capabilities. It allows simultaneous connection of up to four sources, enabling effortless switching between different turntables, tonearms, or cartridges according to listening preferences. Each input can be independently configured, with dedicated adjustments for gain in 5 dB steps, resistance, and capacitance, ensuring precise and fully tailored matching.

Its high-capacity, ultra-low-noise DC power supply enables the preamplifier to achieve an exceptionally wide dynamic range, keeping the signal clean and controlled even at high levels, well before any clipping occurs. Careful attention to circuit layout and component placement further reduces the noise floor, enhancing every musical nuance and expanding the perception of dynamic range.

Depending on system configuration, the 40 PPA provides both balanced XLR outputs and unbalanced RCA outputs, ensuring maximum compatibility with different audio systems. The custom-designed remote control allows complete management of the unit’s functions and settings, as well as control of other products in the 40 series, delivering an intuitive and fully integrated user experience.
