SU-C1010

The SU-C1010 is a control amplifier distinguished by the adoption of an innovative low-noise amplifier called VGCA (Variable Gain Control Amplifier). Unlike traditional amplifiers, which reduce the input signal before amplification, the VGCA directly adjusts the amplifier’s gain, minimizing noise and preserving dynamic range even at low volumes. To further enhance sound quality, the audio circuit is powered by a rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery.

The SU-C1010 is designed to support multichannel audio systems, featuring a 6-channel input compatible with DVD audio and a 6-channel output that allows control of all channel levels through the main volume. The power supply uses an R-core transformer designed to minimize magnetic flux loss and a TAKEII electrolytic capacitor, ensuring high performance in the power section.

The relays used in the Technics SU-C1010 have contacts plated with silver, palladium, and gold, guaranteeing excellent signal quality during switching. The unit includes two pre-out terminals, ideal for bi-amping configurations, and a wired remote control function that allows switching on/off a compatible power amplifier, such as the SE-A1010 model.

The SE-A1010 is a stereo power amplifier that employs advanced technology based on a MOS amplifier in Class AA. This configuration combines a voltage control amplifier and a pure Class A current drive amplifier integrated into a Class AA bridge, significantly improving sound quality.

The power supply section features a newly designed Take II electrolytic capacitor, an updated version of a capacitor using a mixed bamboo fiber separator. The basic structure of this component has been revised to provide more detailed and cleaner audio reproduction, contributing to a more natural and precise sound.
