MONO TUBE POWER AMPLIFIER

The MC2301 delivers the most extraordinarily realistic and dynamic performance ever heard from a McIntosh tube amplifier. With an output power of 300 watts, it provides enough power to drive even the most demanding speakers. And thanks to the patented Unity Coupled Circuit output transformer, this full 300 watts is available for 2, 4, or 8 Ohm speakers.

The MC2301 is the first McIntosh tube amplifier to use the Quad Balanced design. This design virtually eliminates all noise and distortion in the audio signal. As a result, even when amplified to high levels, the signal is effectively free from distortion. The fuse-less short-circuit protection circuit, Sentry Monitor™, disengages the output stage before the current exceeds safe operating levels and automatically resets. Balanced and unbalanced cable inputs are available to provide flexibility in connecting the rest of your audio system.

The characteristic blue meter is flanked by two rows of output tubes that add even more visual appeal to the front panel, along with the knobs and brushed aluminum handles that blend perfectly with the polished stainless steel chassis. The MC2301 is particularly well-suited for stereo audio systems.
