The two amplifiers differ in heatsink design, as shown in the photos.
The ELEMENT 701 monoblock amplifier stands as a true reference for those seeking the highest sound reproduction quality combined with extraordinary dynamic reserve. Designed to exceed the most demanding requirements, it delivers 1,800 watts of continuous power and peaks up to 8,000 watts, ensuring stable driving even for the most complex and low-impedance audio systems. Despite its incredible power, the 701 impresses with its musicality, conveying the audio signal smoothly and naturally, preserving detail even under extreme load conditions.
Every stage of the amplifier is meticulously engineered: the power supply stage features a 2,000 VA toroidal transformer, supported by over 200,000 µF of filtering and ultra-fast rectifier bridges, ensuring ultra-fast transient response and distortion-free reproduction. The output stage uses 16 pairs of BJT transistors capable of delivering continuous currents up to 350 A, while separate and stabilized power supplies guarantee maximum reliability and stability under any condition. The fully balanced input-to-output configuration in class AB produces a two-wave, out-of-phase amplified signal, providing linearity, extremely low noise, and precise performance.
The latest-generation HDCA modules, used in both the input and gain stages, allow extremely faithful processing of balanced and single-ended signals, maintaining high channel separation and reducing microphonics and external interference. The filtering section, mounted on a glass-ceramic PCB without air wiring, maximizes current flow, dissipates heat from the rectifier bridges, and isolates circuits from vibrations. The transformer is enclosed in a metal casing, minimizing magnetic induction in the delicate amplification circuits.
The ELEMENT 701 combines power and technology without compromising musicality: channel separation is exceptional, dynamics are vast, and sound detail is remarkable, with a three-dimensional soundstage placing instruments and voices in a natural, realistic space. An integrated microcontroller manages power-on, thermal protection, and overcurrent precisely. The rear panel features four WBT connectors for bi-wiring and two pairs of XLR/RCA inputs, usable in parallel. A Trigger IN/OUT allows automatic power-on from the source, such as EamLab preamplifiers or other brands equipped with a trigger.
Mechanically, the amplifier is robust and designed to minimize vibrations and resonances: the chassis is made of 12 mm steel reinforced with ribs at critical points, while the front panel is 15 mm anticorodal aluminum. The combination of materials, engineering, and advanced circuit solutions makes the ELEMENT 701 not only a high-power amplifier but also a refined musical instrument, capable of highlighting every detail and delivering outstanding performance for years.
