The Audion Sterling Anniversary is a Class A stereo amplifier, entirely hand-wired point-to-point using high-grade components and larger, in-house manufactured EI96 output transformers, offering enhanced performance compared to earlier versions. The chassis is made from black powder-coated aluminum, while the top plate and front badge are finished in polished stainless steel, creating a refined contrast that reflects both aesthetic and functional attention to detail.

This technical configuration, combined with a carefully implemented low feedback design, delivers a sound that is precise, dynamic, and open, with smooth transients and excellent signal handling. The sonic improvement over printed circuit board models is immediately noticeable, thanks to the superior transformers and higher quality components.

Designed to perform optimally with speakers rated at 89 dB efficiency or higher, the amplifier delivers 12 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and can be internally configured to work with 4-ohm speakers. A volume control on the front panel and stereo inputs on the rear make the use of a separate preamplifier unnecessary.
