The P-7300 represents the most advanced evolution of Accuphase technologies, starting from the A-200 commemorative edition and the subsequent M-6200, taking their concepts to an even higher level. The unit stands out for a drastic reduction in background noise and a significant increase in damping factor, guaranteed to be no less than 1000, demonstrating the effectiveness of the engineering solutions implemented. The final stage features ten bipolar power transistors per channel in a push-pull parallel configuration, providing enormous current capacity and keeping the output impedance extremely low. This design allows for precise control of any speaker, achieving constant-voltage drive even with loads down to 1 ohm, delivering 800 watts per channel on 1 ohm, 500 watts on 2 ohms, 250 watts on 4 ohms, and 125 watts on 8 ohms. Bridged monophonic operation further increases performance, reaching 1,600 watts on 2 ohms.

The design has been further refined in the input stage, where the use of a low-noise instrumentation topology and MCS+ circuitry reduces the noise floor to unprecedented levels, achieving a signal-to-noise ratio of 125 dB at maximum gain and 131 dB at the –12 dB setting. The current feedback system ensures absolute stability while delivering excellent sound quality, and the four-level gain control (0, –3, –6, –12 dB) provides maximum flexibility. The power supply features a newly designed large toroidal transformer with exceptional capacity, complemented by high-capacitance filter capacitors to maintain consistent performance even under demanding conditions. Circuit protection is handled by MOS-FET switches with extremely low on-resistance, certified for very high operating voltages.

The result is a state-of-the-art balanced stereo power amplifier that combines unlimited power, extreme silence, and exceptional musicality, perfectly embodying Accuphase’s engineering philosophy.
