The Rotel RMB-1587MKII is a 7-channel power amplifier designed to deliver top-tier multichannel performance. Following the MKII internal architecture, Rotel has redesigned the signal paths and optimized the power supply circuitry, using high-quality components to ensure extremely low distortion, exceptional signal isolation, and high-gain amplification. The result is precise and detailed multichannel sound, capable of reproducing every nuance with absolute clarity.

Unlike many multichannel amplifiers, the RMB-1587MKII maintains full power when driving multiple channels simultaneously: all seven channels operate in Class AB, delivering 155 Watts at 8 ohms and up to 250 Watts at 4 ohms, ensuring powerful and consistent performance. To manage heat, the unit features four ultra-quiet variable-speed fans controlled by a thermostat, providing efficient cooling without disturbing the listening experience.

Connectivity is highly versatile: the amplifier includes balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, with automatic switching based on the signal type, guaranteeing full compatibility with any AV processor or preamplifier. The 12V trigger input and output allow automated power on/off with the preamplifier, and a dedicated 19-inch rack-mount kit is available for those wishing to install it in a rack.
