The Unico Nuovo represents the second generation of the series, based on the original hybrid design introduced in 2001. The valve preamplification, handled by a dual triode ECC83/12AX7, is combined with a Dynamic Class A MOSFET power stage, enhanced compared to the previous model, capable of delivering substantial output without compromising the typical warmth of valve sound. The self-adjusting bias circuit ensures finer sonic nuances, enhancing the musical qualities inherent in the valve design.

The hybrid architecture of the Unico Nuovo exploits the complementary characteristics of its components: MOSFETs provide precision and control over low frequencies, while valves are renowned for their musicality and fast response in the mid-high spectrum. This combination allows the amplifier to achieve both efficiency and superior sound quality, offering high-level performance at an accessible price.
