Unison Sinfonia Anniversary is the celebratory edition of the renowned dual-mono tube integrated amplifier, created to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of Unison Research. This model retains the series’ signature dual-mono architecture, with two identical and fully independent amplifiers housed in a single chassis, each featuring its own power transformer, dedicated circuits, and output stage, minimizing any interference between channels. All amplification stages are tube-based, operate in pure single-ended Class A, and deliver a warm, immersive, and refined musicality.

Compared to the standard version, the Anniversary reaches 27 Watts RMS per channel and stands out for its use of premium components. The tubes employed are the prestigious Genalex Gold Lion: ECC82 and ECC83 in the preamplification stage and KT88 in the power stage, carefully selected and matched to enhance linearity, detail, and sonic dimensionality. The transformers have been redesigned, along with the coupling capacitors, to optimize signal quality and achieve higher performance than the standard model.

Aesthetically, the Anniversary is distinguished by a copper top plate that adds sophistication, while the available finishes are Cherry or Mahogany, emphasizing the refined vintage style typical of Unison Research. The front panel retains heavy, solid, non-magnetic stainless steel knobs, ensuring smooth control over volume and input selection. The solid wood remote control, equipped with an infrared circuit, completes the elegant package and also helps dampen potential resonances.

The preamplification and driver section is based on ECC82 and ECC83 triodes connected in parallel and properly biased, with DC currents regulated by a circuit functioning like a zener diode, maximizing linearity and signal-to-noise ratio. The dual-mono power supply uses two independent toroidal transformers, while the KT88 output tubes operate in ultra-linear parallel single-ended configuration thanks to optimized output transformers. Digital control of input selection and volume is handled via microprocessor and IR remote, while analog volume adjustment is managed by a high-quality ALPS RK27 stereo motorized potentiometer.

Fully manufactured in the Treviso laboratories with carefully selected materials, non-inductive resistors, high-quality filter capacitors, and ceramic tube bases, the Sinfonia Anniversary combines artisanal craftsmanship with advanced technology. The result is a smooth and seductive sound, with remarkable dynamics and incisive bass, highlighting the dimensionality and warmth typical of the finest tube amplifiers.
