The PrimaLuna EVO 300 tube power amplifier represents the pinnacle of handcrafted hybrid amplifier design, combining the natural musicality of vacuum tubes with the power and control of MOSFET outputs, capable of driving most speakers with authority. The heavy steel chassis is handmade and finished with five hand-rubbed coats of lacquer, while internally every connection follows point-to-point wiring using high-quality Swiss silver wires, a level of craftsmanship rarely found even in the most expensive tube amplifiers. Power is delivered via separate toroidal and EI transformers for the left and right channels, fully encapsulated to minimize hum and provide wide bandwidth and precise speaker control.

The tube stage consists of six 12AU7s, two for the input and four as drivers, delivering a natural tonal balance, refined detail, and silky vocals, while the MOSFET output stage, designed in collaboration with Floyd Design, provides speed, grip, and controlled dynamics without sacrificing musical character. The EVO 300 features a motorized ALPS volume control, Nichicon and DuRoch capacitors, gold-plated RCA and XLR input/output jacks, 6.35 mm headphone terminals, and connections for subwoofer, tape out, and Home Theater bypass, ensuring complete flexibility of use. Each unit includes a metal remote control, elegant and ergonomic, allowing effortless operation of all functions.

The design is built to last: the SoftStart circuit protects sensitive components from thermal shock, while the Adaptive AutoBias™ continuously monitors the tubes, automatically adjusting the bias to reduce distortion and extend tube life. Tube-rolling is easy, thanks to a high/low bias switch for optimizing EL34 or KT88 tubes, while output transformer and power supply protection safeguards the amplifier in case of sudden tube failure.

Every detail is designed to deliver a complete listening experience: from ceramic tube sockets to gold-plated WBT terminals with solid conductors, and the optional fully shielded phono stage, which preserves maximum signal integrity. The result is an amplifier capable of producing deep, controlled bass, extended and clear highs, and a wide, three-dimensional soundstage, ready for daily listening with any speaker or headphones, combining power, refinement, and practicality in a single solid and massive 31 kg chassis.
