In the eight years since the introduction of the Diablo 300, advances in component technology and intensive engineering research have identified areas for improvement. Key elements from the circuitry of the new Apex and Commander—Gryphon’s flagship amplifier and preamplifier—have been incorporated into the Diablo 333, which delivers 10% more output power than its legendary predecessor. The new ultra-fast, low-capacitance preamplifier transistors provide enhanced musicality and superior measured performance.

Surpassing the perfection achieved by the legendary Diablo 300 was no easy task: introduced at High End Munich 2015, the Diablo 300 set a new benchmark in integrated amplification performance. With unanimous acclaim from the high-end audio press and thousands of units sold, the Diablo 300 maintained its “Best-in-Class” status for nearly a decade, repeatedly outperforming newer and more expensive competitors.

However, over the past eight years, new technologies and intensive engineering research have suggested further areas for improvement. The Diablo 333 is based on the technologies used in the circuitry of Apex and Commander, Gryphon’s flagship amplifier and preamplifier, delivering 10% more power than its predecessor. It employs new ultra-fast, low-capacitance transistors that enable superior performance both musically and on the test bench.
