The Accuphase E213 is a high-end integrated amplifier designed to deliver an extraordinary audio experience in terms of both power and sonic detail. Each channel provides 120 watts with impeccable dynamics, thanks to AAVA amplification technology, which ensures linear, distortion-free playback with an extended dynamic range. Both the preamplifier and power amplifier sections feature Accuphase’s MCS (Multiple Circuit Summing-up) circuitry, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio and reduces distortion by combining multiple amplifiers in parallel for cleaner, more precise performance.

The E213 uses multi-emitter power transistors for high-performance audio, arranged in a push-pull configuration and mounted on large heat sinks for optimal thermal management. The power amplifier section employs a current feedback circuit that minimizes phase shifts and achieves excellent characteristics with minimal negative feedback, maintaining a consistent frequency response even with varying gain. Signal switching is handled via closed-type logic relays with long-lasting gold-plated contacts, while tone control uses a fully additive active filter system, allowing frequencies to be added or subtracted without altering the original signal.

The power supply features a large 400 VA transformer mounted with conductive, anti-vibration material, supported by 22,000 μF aluminum electrolytic capacitors to ensure stability and noise-free operation. The amplifier includes an EXT-PRE switch and an input for separating the preamplifier and power amplifier, allowing it to function as a standalone power amplifier. Audio connections include large speaker terminals and RCA/XLR inputs, an analog peak power meter, and convenient volume and input selection via a wireless remote control.

The volume control is designed with a focus on sound quality, and high-carbon cast iron feet provide stability and vibration isolation. The E213 also features a compensator function to enhance bass response at low volumes, ensuring a balanced and detailed listening experience.
