MARANTZ MCR 60N DAB

The Marantz MCR 60n DAB is a compact all-in-one Hi-Fi system that combines several sources and listening options in a single unit. It features a CD player, an MM phono stage for connecting a turntable, Bluetooth connectivity and network streaming via HEOS™, as well as an HDMI eARC input for integration with a TV. The amplification section delivers 65 W per channel into 4 ohms.

The system uses an upgraded DAC and supports high-resolution audio files up to PCM 384 kHz/32-bit. The Powered by HEOS™ network platform provides access to major music streaming services, allowing content to be searched through a single interface and playback to be managed in multi-room configurations. Roon Ready compatibility further expands the options for managing a personal music library.

The MCR 60n DAB supports different sources while maintaining a straightforward setup. The CD player allows playback of a physical disc collection, while the MM phono input enables a turntable to be connected directly. Bluetooth connectivity adds wireless playback from compatible devices, alongside network streaming and physical sources.

The HDMI eARC input allows the system to be integrated with a TV and used to reproduce the audio from movies, programmes and video games. The connection also allows volume control via the TV remote. A subwoofer output is provided for integrating a dedicated low-frequency speaker into the system.

The HEOS™ platform allows users to search for and play content from various music services and to manage multiple compatible devices throughout the home using the HEOS app. Support for high-resolution streaming provides access to recordings with higher quality than standard compressed formats.

The design retains a compact footprint and adopts Marantz's current design language, with restrained proportions and finishes intended to complement modern living spaces. The construction combines the functions of a traditional Hi-Fi system with the possibilities offered by network streaming and audio-video integration.
