MARANTZ CINEMA 60 S2

The Marantz CINEMA 60 Series 2 is a 7-channel AV receiver designed for home cinema systems and for the playback of movies, music and video games. It delivers 100 W per channel and incorporates multichannel processing with Dolby Atmos support, allowing surround configurations with dedicated speakers for effects coming from the vertical plane.

The digital section uses a new-generation 32-bit, 8-channel DAC designed to improve the clarity, resolution and dynamic range of signals from different sources. The circuitry uses selected components and draws on Marantz's experience in the design of audio and AV electronics, with a configuration intended for the reproduction of films, music and video games.

Connectivity includes seven HDMI ports with HDMI eARC support, allowing TVs, streaming devices and other audio and video sources to be connected. The video section also supports the use of two displays, allowing the AV receiver to be integrated into configurations with multiple display devices.

The HEOS platform integrates wireless music streaming and allows the CINEMA 60 Series 2 to be used as part of compatible multi-room systems. Sources can therefore include both directly connected devices and music content available over the network, with centralised system management.

The system is designed to simplify both initial setup and everyday operation. The on-screen interface guides the main setup procedures, while automated management functions allow the various modes and sources to be used without requiring continuous adjustment of the unit's settings.

The chassis incorporates the characteristic elements of the CINEMA series design, with an approach intended to integrate into contemporary living spaces. The front panel combines the main controls with distinctive Marantz design elements, maintaining an orderly and functional layout.

The audio section is tuned by the Marantz Sound Master according to the company's principles of clarity, balance and musicality. The CINEMA 60 Series 2 can therefore be used for movies, video games and music, combining signal processing, channel amplification and source connectivity in a single unit.
