DENON AVC-X3900H

AV amplifier designed for home cinema systems that require immersive multichannel reproduction, flexible speaker configuration and support for the latest audio and video formats. It delivers 105 W per channel and features nine amplification channels, with signal processing for up to 11 channels, allowing users to create surround sound configurations with dedicated height speakers and adapt the system to the characteristics of the listening room.

Compatibility with Dolby Atmos, DTS, Auro-3D, IMAX Enhanced and 360 Reality Audio enables soundtracks and music to be reproduced in three dimensions, positioning sound effects throughout the listening space to create a broad and detailed soundstage. Upmixing technologies can also process conventional audio tracks to involve a greater number of speakers, enhancing content that was not originally recorded in an immersive format.

The video section features HDMI connectivity compatible with 4K and 8K signals, including 8K pass-through and 4K-to-8K upscaling. Support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dynamic HDR and HLG helps preserve detail, contrast and colour gradations when used with compatible sources and displays. HDCP 2.3 support enables the handling of protected content, while ARC and eARC allow audio from the TV to be transmitted to the amplifier through a single HDMI connection, including supported high-definition and immersive audio formats.

For gaming enthusiasts, the AVC-X3900H incorporates HDMI features designed to improve image fluidity and reduce latency, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and AMD FreeSync. When used with compatible sources and displays, these technologies help deliver a more immediate response and smoother playback while maintaining the immersive experience provided by multichannel audio.

The integrated Audyssey room correction system analyses speaker performance using the supplied measurement microphone and adjusts the system according to the characteristics of the room. For more advanced control, an optional upgrade to Dirac Live Full Suite is available, allowing further refinement of room correction and system integration.

The HEOS platform provides access to music streaming and allows audio to be distributed across multiple rooms throughout the home. The dedicated app can be used to control compatible sources, play the same content in different rooms or select different tracks for each zone. The system can be expanded by adding Denon Home wireless speakers and other compatible devices, creating a centrally managed multiroom audio solution. Music playback is also supported through compatible streaming services and devices, including Spotify and mobile sources.

System management is further enhanced by control and integration features designed for sophisticated home cinema installations, with the possibility of integration into environments equipped with compatible home automation systems.
