The Head Box RS is a reference-quality headphone amplifier designed to deliver the highest level of listening experience thanks to a fully balanced tube input stage with a 6922 double triode and a single-ended Class A FET output stage. It features balanced RCA and XLR inputs as well as RCA and XLR outputs for pass-through, offering maximum connectivity flexibility. The volume is controlled by a precision regulator with perfectly matched resistances between the left and right channels, while an output impedance selector, adjustable in three steps (5, 20, and 50 ohms), allows optimal matching between the amplifier and different headphones, ensuring the best possible sound performance based on personal listening preference.
The fully balanced dual-mono design, combined with the advanced multi-stage power supply with four different voltages, guarantees the highest signal-to-noise ratio, providing exceptional reproduction of detail, dynamics, and soundstage with any dynamic headphone. Careful selection of low-noise components and minimization of distortion ensures a crystal-clear, detailed, and dynamic sound. Output is via a 6.3 mm jack, while the metal chassis, available in silver or black finishes, provides durability and an elegant appearance. The Head Box RS can also be upgraded with Power Box RS Uni 1 or 4 power supplies for further improvement in sound quality, and each unit is handmade in Europe, reflecting a combination of craftsmanship and precision engineering.
