The C.E.C. HD53N is a high-quality headphone amplifier, with preamplifier functionality and a dual mono construction, designed for those seeking precision, dynamics, transparency and musicality in headphone sound reproduction.

It is designed according to a dual mono architecture, in which the left and right channels are completely separated at the electrical level. This construction choice allows to minimize interference and crosstalk, ensuring cleaner and more precise reproduction. The input stage uses discrete J-FETs, while the output stage relies on MOSFETs, all without global feedback: a solution that favors a more natural, fluid and coherent sound output.

The separate power supply is completely shielded, uses dedicated toroidal transformers for each channel, to guarantee stability and operational silence at the highest levels.

There is also an amplified output, 13 Watts per channel on 8 Ohm, ideal for connection to passive speakers, thus offering greater versatility of use.

The sound performance of this amplifier is distinguished by excellent stereo separation, wide dynamics and an extremely linear frequency response, which return every detail with great precision. The sound is transparent and well-articulated, free from any harshness, but still manages to retain considerable warmth and engaging musicality.
