The Advance Paris PlayStream A7 is a Class AB stereo integrated amplifier designed to deliver powerful, precise and highly musical sound reproduction. With an output power of 115 watts per channel at 8 ohms and a High-Bias switch that allows operation similar to Class A for the first watts, it produces a warm, detailed and natural sound. At the core of the A7 is a complete network streamer compatible with both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections, capable of accessing music libraries stored on mobile devices, computers or NAS drives, while supporting DLNA and AirPlay protocols for seamless integration into modern digital environments.

Through the Advance Playstream app, available for iOS and Android, users can directly access major streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, TuneIn and many others, ensuring an intuitive and always-connected listening experience. The unit also features a USB Type-A port for playing audio files from FAT32 storage devices up to 128 GB, further expanding its versatility. In terms of radio functionality, the A7 combines tradition and innovation with both an analog FM tuner and a digital DAB+ receiver, offering a wide range of content available in high quality.

The built-in phono input can be configured for MM or MC cartridges, making it suitable for vinyl enthusiasts as well. Compatibility with the optional Bluetooth modules X-FTB01 (aptX, AAC) and X-FTB02 (aptX HD, aptX, AAC, SBC) also allows convenient wireless streaming while maintaining high audio quality. The DAC section is based on the AKM AK4490 chip with 32-bit / 768 kHz capability, able to handle PCM formats up to 32-bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to 11.2 MHz, ensuring extremely accurate and detailed decoding.

In terms of connectivity, the PlayStream A7 features an HDMI ARC interface for integration with televisions, an asynchronous USB Type-B input supporting DSD256 and PCM up to 32/384, one RCA coaxial input and three optical Toslink inputs, along with six analog inputs including five unbalanced RCA and one phono input. It also includes two RCA subwoofer outputs, one stereo Rec Out output and two trigger out ports for synchronized power control with other devices. The headphone amplifier is accessible from the front panel and offers two outputs, one 6.3 mm jack and one 3.5 mm jack, ensuring compatibility with virtually any type of headphones.

Tone controls and the loudness function can be disabled for a completely customized sound management, while the “Pre Out” and “Amp In” connectors allow separation of the preamplifier and power amplifier stages, enabling the A7 to be integrated into more complex audio systems. Completing the configuration is a dual set of speaker terminals selectable in A/B mode.
