DALI RUBICON 8

The Rubicon 8 is the flagship floorstanding model of the Rubicon series, designed to deliver extraordinary audio performance with elegant and detailed sound. Its configuration features three 165 mm wood fibre midwoofers with aluminum baskets, each housed in its own separate chamber, and a mid-high module composed of a 29 mm soft dome silk tweeter paired with a ribbon tweeter. The cabinet, crafted from MDF with a high-quality finish, is particularly rigid and inert, with a 25 mm front panel that directly hosts the drivers, ensuring precision and control. Bi-wire connections with gold-plated terminals provide stable and reliable connectivity.

The Rubicon 8 recreates the passion of a live performance through the seamless integration of its three woofers, which blend low and mid frequencies effortlessly, while the hybrid tweeter, combining soft dome and ribbon elements, delivers wide and even dispersion, producing crystal-clear detail and a transparent sound image even in larger rooms. The SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) technology, inherited from the EPICON series, significantly reduces distortion and provides a high level of detail even at low volumes, offering a relaxed midrange and impressive clarity.

The three 165 mm woofers feature lightweight yet rigid cones with an irregular structure that ensures precise piston-like movement, minimizes surface resonances, and reduces distortion. The low-loss rubber surround, supported by a die-cast aluminum basket, optimizes airflow around the cone and magnetic system. The elegant and functional cabinet houses the woofers in separate chambers to minimize interference, while the rear bass reflex ports reduce turbulence and ensure fast, precise, and controlled bass reproduction.

The Rubicon 8 can be used as the main speaker in a stereo system or as the primary channel in a full Rubicon Home Theatre setup, delivering a wide, natural, and immersive soundstage with deep bass, defined mids, and airy highs without compromising musicality.
